The Breitenau Memorial Museum is 15km south of Kassel right next to the motorway A7 (Fulda - Kassel)direction Guxhagen. It is inside a building belonging to the former monastery Breitenau on the ground of the today's facility for mental ill people. By train: every 30 minutes there are RegioTrams and trains departing from Kassel central station and Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, the journey time is about 20 minutes; from the train station Guxhagen it is a 10-minutes walk; there are also busses between Kassel and Guxhagen.
